Therapeutic Approaches

I draw from a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches and tailor treatment to each client's individual needs and goals. My clinical approach incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and trauma-informed care. I also incorporate interventions focused on emotional regulation, cognitive restructuring, grounding, coping skills, grief processing, and building resilience.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

Focuses on building practical skills for managing emotions, coping with stress, improving relationships, and responding to difficult situations more effectively.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Helps you understand the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and develop healthier ways of responding to challenges.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

A trauma-focused approach that helps the brain process distressing or traumatic experiences so they feel less overwhelming and have less impact on your daily life.
